So I went and did it. Tried out a livejournal account. No, no, don't go bothering to look for it, it's not staying. Sure, the remote posting feature is handy (wouldn't mind having something like that for D-Land, but I have notepad and I know how to cut 'n paste) but as far as everything else goes, there really isn't much of a point to it.
Hell, I barely write enough to justify the existance of this, I don't need yet something else to write to, much less something I should feel like I'm obligated to write too simply because it exists.
So, I was going to upgrade the processor to a 1.2. Still don't know if it's just that my board doesn't like the MP line or if it's dead. Probably won't know for awhile. In the meantime, I've gone from an 800 at 100FSB to a 950 at 133FSB. Amazing what a difference 150mhz at 33mhz faster will do, especially since my memory's always been 133 running at 100.
Yeah, so it's nowhere near as spiffy as running a gigahertz system with DDR ram at 400+FSB, but stufu.
I'm still m0r3 1337 7h4n 7h0u. And don't you ever forget it.
So, in regular news (if there is such a thing), just was down in portland for a few hours for my daughters birthday party. It was a blast. Brought her down a shit-ton of books. Fortunatly, she likes books both for the pretty pictures and because they have words. The demon in a kid-suit is only 4, yet she can recognize letters that make up words and can 'draw' the alphabet without assistance. Totally fucking rocks. Now, if she'd just like sushi better. :-) Can't blame her too much on that one though, wasabi _is_ an acquired taste.
Anywho. Got a busy week coming up. With doctors appointments to deal with and apparently filling military paperwork for fixing a system they packed and shipped for a friend of mine which resulted in the damage I had to fix. Upside: I could actually get paid for having done so. Downside: Filling out military paperwork, enuf said.
Whelp, more later. Going to test new proc with NWN and Morrowind and then head to bed, fred.
